Steve has over 20 years of senior experience within large UK and US owned companies, working out of Northern England, London and mainland Europe. Educated to degree level, he is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and member of the British Psychological Society.
For the last 15 years he has operated at director level leading in the HR design and execution of major restructuring programmes along with business disposal, merger and acquisition activity. He has a successful track record of performing pivotal roles in HR, operations and business governance particularly through periods of significant change and upheaval within organisations. His experience is mainly on the utility and aviation industries and the expertise he has is applicable to a wide range of business sectors.
Most recently he was Director, Human Resources with an international business aviation company working across offices in London, Portugal and Switzerland with a diverse mix of employees located in over 20 countries. Prior to this he worked extensively within the UK utility business after a period working in the public sector.
In these roles he delivered complex and substantial business change agendas involving resizing, TUPE transfers business integration and due diligence. This fundamentally reshaped the organisations involved and required a substantial shift in the employee relations environment and the wider business culture.
He now operates his UK wide mediation practice along with expertise in coaching, employee relations and change management.
Steve has previously been Chairman of the Trustee Board of a large occupational pension scheme for a number of years and has worked as a volunteer counsellor with a national charitable organisation. He is a board member of Young Enterprise in the North East of England.
Steve is an ADR Group Workplace Panel Mediator and a Member of the Civil Mediation Council. In addition to being a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD he is also a Member of the British Psychological Society.
